Anti-lock braking system
(ABS)
An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is a safety system on motor vehicles, which prevents the wheels from locking while braking.
A rotating road wheel allows the driver to maintain steering control under heavy braking, by preventing a locked wheel or skid and allowing the wheel to continue to roll forward and to create lateral control, as directed by the driver’s steering inputs.

Airbags
There are two types of airbags, namely frontal airbags and the various types of side-impact airbags. Advanced frontal airbag systems automatically determine if and with what level of power the driver’s frontal airbag and the passenger’s frontal airbag will inflate. The appropriate level of power is based on sensor inputs that can detect the following:
- Occupant size
- Seat position
- Seat belt use of the occupant
- Crash severity
Side-impact airbags are inflatable devices that are designed to help protect your head and/or chest in the event of a serious collision involving the sides of your vehicle.
Air conditioning
We recover and regas all makes and models of vehicles and provide a diagnostic check on your vehicle. The process includes:

Starters and alternators
A wide range of new and remanufactured starters and alternator units are available for passenger vehicles to earthmoving equipment. New and remanufactured main components, like armatures, field coils, bendix drives and solenoids for starters, as well as rotors and stators for alternators are also available.
Rotors and stators
The heat of the alternator and its generating components, rotors and stators, may be subjected to excessive heat that can deteriorate insulation and cause shots.
Slip rings
Slip rings must be in constant contact with the brushes or uneven wear can occur and lead to failure.
Brushes
Worn brushes interrupt electrical contact and shorten the lifespan of alternators. This is also one of the primary causes of starter failure.
Armature support bushings
These bushings protect finely machined components against ongoing wear.
Solenoid contacts
The solenoid assembly torque-producing elements, the armature and commutator are critical to proper cranking capability.
Rectifiers and alternators
Rectifier failure, most often caused by diode malfunction, is one of the primary causes of alternator failure.
Bearings
Bearings are critical to alternator durability, because of extreme lateral loads applied by the driven belt, in addition to excessive heat and vibration.
